  • Sat, Feb 9: 10:30 - 12:30 C.A.R. benefit ice-skating party at Winter Lodge in Palo Alto
  • Sun, Feb 10: 1-4pm Charlotte Diamond, children's entertainer, at Smithwick Theater, Foothill College. Benefit for local elementary school music programs.
  • Tues, Feb 12 National Pancake Day: free short stack of buttermilk pancakes at IHOP; donate saved $ to Children's Miracle Network
  • Thurs, Feb 14 and Sat, Feb 16: Burning Man artist Mark Hinkley shows participants how to create a bouquet of artifician flowers from recycled soda bottles. Noon - 2pm at the Exploratorium. Xara Project
